From the Taconic Parkway: Exit at Route 55 westbound (Poughkeepsie). Proceed six miles west to a left turn on to Van Wagner Road, which becomes Raymond Ave. (There should be a church on a hill directly across from you at this intersection) Proceed less than a mile to Vassar. You should cross over Main St. and Haight Ave; Collegeview Ave on your left is the last road before the stone entrance to Vassar on your left.

From I-87 (NY state Thruway) southbound: Use exit 18 (Poughkeepsie/Mid-Hudson Bridge, or some such.... just make sure it mentions the Mid-Hudson Bridge). Leaving the Thruway, take a right turn onto Rte. 299 (proceeding east), towards Poughkeepsie/Mid-Hudson Bridge. 299 will end at Rte. 9W (NOT to be confused with 9, or 9D, two very different roads). Take another right turn and proceed south on 9W. Eventually it will join with Rte. 44/55. Keep following the signs for the Mid-Hudson bridge, and take the appropriate turn-off for it on your right. Cross the bridge, staying on 44/55 E (this is very important) as it passes through the city of Poughkeepsie. It eventually becomes Haight Ave. Watch for the "Vassar" sign indicating a right turn onto Raymond Ave. You will cross Collegeview Ave, and Vassar's stone gates will be the next turn on your left.

From I-87 northbound: Use exit 17 (Newburgh), and take I-84 eastbound across the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge to exit 13 for Rte 9 North. Follow the directions for Rte. 9 North below.

From Rte. 9 northbound: Drive 9.5 miles north from the intersection of I-84 and Rte 9 to the exit for Spackenkill Rd/Rte 113. IBM's main facility is on the left. Proceed about 0.5 miles on Spackenkill Rd. Turn left at the second traffic light onto Wilbur Blvd. Turn right when Wilbur ends at Hooker Ave. Turn left at the first traffic light onto Raymond Ave. Enter the college through the stone archway on the right.

From Rte 9 southbound: As you enter the Poughkeepsie city limits, take the exit for 44/55 E (the one that doesn't go toward the Mid-Hudson bridge). Follow 44/55 through the city of Poughkeepsie, until it becomes Haight Ave. Watch for the "Vassar" sign indicating a turn onto Raymond Ave to your right. Once on Raymond Ave, you will cross Collegeview Ave before coming to Vassar's stone gates on your left.
